Do high school biology students still dissect frogs?
Back in the day, high school biology students (grade 10 in 1970s South Carolina) were required to dissect frogs. Smelly things, pickled in formaldehyde. (At least we didn't have to start with live frogs! )
I recently noticed this article about newly developed see-through frogs, which can be studied internally without dissection. Potentially a boon to researchers, and possibly to high school biology students.
So, does your high school still require frog dissection?

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
