Deciphering Mabuchi Motor Codes

Mabuchi has a great little applet on their web site to help in deciphering the motor codes that they (and many other manufacturers it would seem) use to specify their small motors.

If you go in through their catalog you will also find they have some handy interactive charts (click the yellow "sim" box next to the motor designation when you get a product list) that allow you to look at motor performance at different voltages and temperatures.
