: The Alliance rule in first will give us co-champions...
: That's half a championship, half a title,
: and half the honor if you think about it.. No one remembers,
: half the champion or the co champion. They remember THE Champion

Question: has there ever been much of anything like this to compare
it to? With a new format unlike anything in FIRST's past, who knows
what will become of the champions?

Also, both teams have their own sort of honor that only the alliance
format can bring. For the team that actually qualified for the elim
rounds, they have the glory of being the best of the best...and for
their ally, they go home knowing that their machine was well enough
designed to be selected for the elimination rounds, even if they didn't
do so well themselves(Delphi/Kokomo being picked in Chicago comes to
mind)...

And of course, they both bring home the monster trophy...

Just my two cents on the whole thing...

Nate
