The lowest-numbered 2008 rookie is team 2230 2330, J Adams Multimedia Productions & Fletcher High School. (The highest-numbered 2007 rookie was 2287, AEP, Texas/Houston Robotics (Bezos Foundation) & Sinton High School.)

It looks like FIRST is reserving fair number of numbers for future splits.
