2,000 years ago Sextus Julius Frontinus was called on to administer the water supply for the city of Rome. Unfortunately even after 2,000 years the average person doesn’t understand the role of engineering in bringing safe clean water to a modern world.
The Kell Robotics Team is working to educate the public about the importance of engineering in bringing safe clean water to the world. As part of this effort we are raising money to build and rehabilitate water wells in the developing world. We would like to invite the FIRST community to participate in this effort. They can do this by visiting our website and purchasing an official Kell Longhorn brand school wristband. 100% of the net proceeds will be applied to this humanitarian effort. No money will be retained by the team.
