: I don't know of any formula for the number of Q-matches, but at Jersey there were 37 teams, 90 matches, and each team got 10 each. I was told by Brian Farmer while I was at that regional that there was going to be only 4 Q-matches in Florida.

Using the temp-logic courtesy of Mike Kulibaba of #88 TJē, it comes out to 37*10/4=92.5 so it's close... i don't know how to fix it though...
working from memory, i believe the number for Philly was around 83 (+/-2) rounds with 60 teams (on the roster), and i think 6 matches (right?) so it comes out to 60*6/4=90 so it's around there...
as for Hartford, 41 teams (roster again) and 8 qms (?) 41*8/4=82!

it's good but it doesn't account for time consumption which is an issue with 200+ teams...
