Well, that's as official as it gets!

Andy, if you will promise to have your robot inspection completed and your pit closed promptly on Thursday, I will escort you and your team to the Arch personally.

So as of this minute evening there are nine states represented in the 2008 St. Louis Regional FRC field, as follows:

2 from Alabama (442, 538)
1 from Iowa (967)
2 from Illinois (1208, 2219)
7 from Indiana (45, 135, 292, 829, 868, 1741, 2197)
1 from Kansas (2410)
5 from Michigan (1, 85, 217, 288, 1502)
18 from Missouri (931, 1094, 1098, 1178, 1182, 1288, 1329, 1444, 1658, 1706, 1804, 1985, 2001, 2014, 2408, 2457, 2507, 2560)
1 from Nebraska (2044)
1 from Texas (148)

and there is a published spot for one more.

[edit]38 teams are now confirmed for St. Louis, filling all of the published spots. Of course there may be more openings as the rookie team situation becomes clearer, for St. Louis and for other regionals. Stay tuned ...[/edit]

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
