There's no process, idea, or fact that can't be reduced to a colorfully stylized image. Cutaways, flow charts, schematic diagrams, graphs - all of these pictures are worth a thousand factoids. Where would USA Today be without those little infographics in the lower left corner, to say nothing of The Onion?
