Overview:
Over the summer I re-designed
AdamBots.com to a fix-width, simple design that is nice on the eyes. Along with the re-design we changed to MediaWiki from TWiki (much, much better..) and from phpBB2 to phpBB3 (decided to get rid of old posts though..).
Last year, seniors maintained our website and are now gone. We decided to do some major updating considering that our site seemed kind of dull. Among the reconstruction/redesign of the website, below are the updates:

Switching to MediaWiki and phpBB3 were really our biggest updates though, doing the skinning and content chaning/editing/adding took some time.
MediaWiki/Main Site:
MediaWiki is probably the most popular wiki system. One of the most popular website,
wikipedia.org, even uses it. Advantages of a MediaWiki over other website systems are Easy File Uploads, Everyone Can Edit, and it's
absolutely FREE.

Forums:
Our forums are skinned to fit our MediaWiki design so a similar look can be found on the forums. The free and open-source phpBB3 works great and is much better than the previous phpBB2. Biggest changes include better administration/moderation system, no spam, and more user capabilities.

We hope to improve the overall quality of the site before the FIRST season starts and maybe add some new design features (who knows.. anything could happen). I also would like to get rid of those dead links that need content (Yea .. those red links
).
