10) How much does mental stimulation in videogames lead to better mental performance in some situations in real life? I think this varies depending on the situation. In some instances, I have seen people get essentially brainwashed by video games, or so addicted to them that their quality of performance in school has greatly deteriorated. However, in people who play video games in moderation, I have seen improved skills in reflexes, hand-eye coordination, quick decision making, logical reasoning, etc. This is prevalent in the drivers for our robotics drive team.
