I found it very helpful to compare the results of the poll the the teams performance data on
http://thebluealliance.net/
What i found interesting is that for the most part, time spent correlated with performance: the more time a team spent, the more likely the team was to have performed well. However, there were some notable exceptions on both ends of the spectrum.
Of course, the poll is unscientific and the data isn't necessarily accurate, but still interesting.
