Thanks for your good words - I am totally thrilled to be honored like this. When I have casual conversation with people on the 'outside' about what I do with my free time, it makes me feel great to see them appreciate and envy the combination of 'giving something to the community' and 'the thrill of serious competition.' But this is different - the people who already 'get it' were honoring our team and I for trying to live up to the standards of real heroes like Woodie. Makes me want to try harder!
Having a forum like this one to talk about our beliefs and opinions is so valuable - I consider it an important part of really being into FIRST. Thanks to your team for providing this great service!
