How we picked our alliance partner was very simple, On Friday night we finished in the # 1 spot so we knew we had to get a list of atleast 20 teams, I watched most of the competition on the Newton field so I had a since of the teams I liked and the teams I didn't. I didn't see half the teams but I did go talk to team 330, team 148 team 100 team 89 and a few others. A lot of teams even came up to us. There were 6 of us who really made the decision for the 2 teams we were going to pick for the elimination matches. I wanted team 100 and then team 89, but I also liked teams 148 and 330, but with 206 other teams there not many people got to see their robots and they didn't want to pick any robot they hadn't seen. We were looking for a defensive robot that could control the puck and we got that in the two teams we picked. If they had a chance to see team 148 or team 308 then maybe we would of picked him but it was just so tough to see everything. Once again I would like to apoligize to team 308 for not even seeing there robot, any team that goes 6-0 deserves to be in the finals. It was my fault as one of my teams scouts to go see your robot and I missed it. Maybe things would of been different if I did. But that is another what if and everybody has a few of thoses.
