I apologize if this may sound rude, but with the traffic that Chief Delphi gets, and the amount of new comers to the forums every day, if everyone decided to make a topic (you'll get a visual come January), than it causes havoc and CD becomes a mess. On top of that the CD users and the staff are all volunteers and dedicate their time to contribute and help improve the community atmosphere. When a question has been repeatedly asked in multiple threads by the same people, it gets a bit irritating.
We don't want you t not ask questions, we just want you to search before you ask because many times your question has been asked and answered before.

That is very understandable. May I advise you to suggest to your students to read some of the FAQs as well as some of the stickies? Those threads may help questions get answered a lot quicker!
Thanks,
