You only get yelled at by calling it Nationals instead of the Championship Event by the conformists of the bunch. The rest of us know what you mean.

Kinda like people yelling at others for calling the organization U.S. FIRST & not FIRST. It doesn't really make a difference.

Us old school folks who actually were around back in the days before Houston, and Atlanta, still call it the Nationals, and to me they are interchangeable and people know what you are talking about whatever wording you decide to use, but whatever.

So.. long story short, in conversations with others who are in FIRST it doesn't really matter (er.. SHOULDN'T MATTER), but when you type something for a press release or anything official, use The Championship Event terminology.
