Daniel,
Glad to hear it's working out. (See idea below....)
Everyone,
Would you be willing to jot down notes along the way and come up with sort of a
'Dummy's Guide to Starting a FIRST Team' - maybe add advice from others
with the same experience - post under 'White Papers'? Sponsorship, recruiting,
etc.
The ASME Guide has a lot of good information. But first-hand accounts
seem to be what a lot of people are asking for.
I'm going through the same thing, trying to get a local high school
interested and sponsored. So I can add the things that work here.
I know it's the end of the school year and a lot of you are probably very busy.
So...this could be a group effort. I volunteer to be the 'Ghost Writer'. If
you, or anyone else wants to get involved, send me an e-mail with their
ideas & experiences. Include your name & team number (optional).
This could also have a section on fundraising ideas, etc.
This could also be put up on a web page - any volunteers for the job of
webmaster out there?
MaryEllen
