I had the chance to talk to Dean Kamen the other day.

Can't quote much of the conversation, but I can share this much.

Dean (and FIRST) has heard the cries of the people for a game that folks can score without super-human powers. He gave his assurance that a 'casual observer' will be able to 'glance' at next year's game and know who's winning or know the score (I can't recall whether he said one or the other :-(

This is good news.

Dean went on to say that he makes no promises about being able to predict the score in 10 seconds, but at least the current state of affairs would be somewhat transparent.

Thought people would like to know.
