Pros:
- Interesting game piece intereactions
- totally new experience
- Forced development of a robust, fault tolerant robot
Cons:
- Water rated components are $$expensive
- Difficult to build a test field
- Building a robust robot.
- Autonomous has to now deal with even more variables
A water game just doesn't appear to fit into the FRC agenda, but I can only imagine a FWC (FIRST Water Competition) happening in the near future.
