Yes, we noticed. (Note: reading the whole thread might not be necessary to get to this conclusion, but it would be a good idea. If you don't want to look through the whole thing, search the thread (orange bar at top of thread, top right).) And it's a receiver, not a transmitter, so it can't be used like a remote control.
