After setting four buttons into the board's memory, we connected each output-signal wire to it's own white wire to a PWM wire. The black wire, on the pwm wire, should connect the the ground (common) that you used to power the IR board, and the red wire can be left unconnected.

You can connect the PWM wire to any of the digital I/o's. We used 1 - 4, and used the remote to control our flipper.

Just be sure to program it right.. since it's a 100msec 5v+ signal, and the processor loops every 26.2 msecs, you're gonna get a digital value 3 times in one push of a button. Basically, if you're using something that needs to flip-flop between two states, it'll go from 0-1-0 in a push of a button.
