The copy of the logo standards on my hard drive (the comprehensive version, downloaded in January) shows the protected area on page 5. For the FIRST logo, the space is the height of the word
FIRST in the logo on all sides. For the FLL logo, it's the height of the letters FLL. The copy I have doesn't mention the JFLL, FTC, or FRC logos (I don't think they had updated the document at the time), but I'd be surprised if the rules there were different. I've attached the screenshot of that part of the document.
Looking at the example linked above, you appear to be cutting it a bit too close on the right-hand side. The fixes aren't that hard; you can either move the line to the right, or move the logo (and probably the text to the left of it, lest you have the same problem again) a little bit to the left.
