I wouldn't think so. <G08> says "all" trackball scores, so even hybrid phase would be affected. I think that they both work in tandem, neither of them canceling the other.
The difference between the two is that you get 8 pts,
in Hybrid phase, for knocking a ball down. If there is still a ball up
after the 15 sec of Hybrid, then the ball may still be knocked down, but no points will be awarded.
