The fan on the Victor cools only the Victor since they're processing a lot of power and can get kind of hot. Functionally, they're similar to the CPU fan on your computer's motherboard.

The cooling fans, which are referred to as muffin fans in my industry, are for additional cooling needs, like if you've got hot components in an enclosed space and need more air flow to keep them cool. They're functionally similar to the case fan on a computer. Of course, if you get creative in design, you might find another use for them.

You should have two large fans (P/N: 4112N/12GL-175) in the grey tote, and six mini fans (PN: 412 (?)) in the SMC box in the black tote. I've never used any of them on a FIRST robot, but your design needs may vary.
