I definitely think you're on the right track.. it's a real good idea in its intention, but it seems like it would be an overwhelming job for judges to accomplish, esp. with the growing amount of teams... to have to try and interview probably 400+ teams and judge fairly would be hard.

Maybe an idea, since you linked it to Chairman's, judges could base their top picks of teams by the Chairman's entries (thus the Chairman's judges have a say) a list of possible candidates with a short briefing of why is given to judges who can interview and focus on those chosen teams.. if they interview someone not on the list and want to choose them, that's alright, or if they decide against a team that's on the list, that's fine too.. final say runs past Dean's eyes.. maybe?

Basically, I agree, an award of recognition like this should be added, it just seems virtually impossible for judges to interview all the teams on top of trying to judge all those other awards.. but definitely a good idea..
