This is legal, as of this afternoon. The robot counts as past the line(point of no return) when
every part of the robot is over the line. So you can stick your arm over the overpass, drop the ball, and you wouldn't have counted as passed the line.
EDIT:wait, are you talking about going under the overpass? If so, you must not be touching the ball at all when all of the ball passes the line.
