This is from the same guy who said, ' the floor will be flat or I'll eat my hat' last year (so you know how much my guesses are worth ;-)

I would be shocked if Dean gave up alliances in 00.

By all accounts Dean is beside himself with glee about how well things turned out in 99.

I would not expect the alliances to disappear....

... or I'll eat my hat.
