0dBm is a normal reference for audio levels so that specification is still suspect as to what it refers to. If the transmitter is only 0dBm output power, then there is likely no chance for interference. Another application for your sponsor's product would be to give it to the audio guys and let them use it to send signals to the remote speaker locations, again with FIRST approval. This sounds like a pretty cool device anyway.
