I will be honest with you, my first year in FIRST (1996), I had what I can only describe as a religious experience when I first set eyes on that awesomely shiny HEXCALIBER.

The polished motors, the clever mechanisms, the ENGINEERING. It made the hair on my arms stand on end!

When I saw that machine, I for the first time 'Got it'

Oh, I was a FIRST zealot before that, but I did not understand what it mean to make a MACHINE until that moment.

To think that PSNH & Manchester West will not field a robot in '00 breaks my heart.

To lose such an inspirational team is a loss indeed.

Tell me it is all just a bad dream. Say it isn't so.
