Re: Help with finding threaded rod

McMaster (and most anyone else) should carry 1/2-13 nuts of all types. Part no. 90494A033 is one such example.

If you're looking for something so long, it seems to be that you're considering building a linear actuation system? If that's the case, you don't want threaded rod -- you want multi-start acme screws.
