We're in the same situation here. We are actually thinking about the game & strategy & optimized designs before actually just going ahead and building something.

By the middle of week 2 we should be cutting parts, and by end of week 2 we should have at least a rolling chassis on the ground... (or flying around, or hovering... whatever kind of design we decide to go with to make the bot move around).
