You want to replace the dumb yellow fuse on the spike with a 20 amp breaker. It will stick out and look a bit silly, but it's highly advised. Connect the spike to a 20 amp breaker on the breaker panel. So there are 2 20 amp breakers involved in the compressor/spike setup.
