Re: Best 80/20 linear bearings

We have used the 80/20 Single UniBearings for several years now with great success. The specific part number to mate with the 1010 extrusion is 6760. However, we have made two significant changes to them:

1) We always loctite the #8-32 flat head screws, as they tend to come loose over time. (as they are practically impossible to service once built)

2) We always replace those same flat head screws with longer screws. The supplied 1/4" long (IIRC) flat head only catches 2 or 3 threads. We go to a longer 5/16" screw to ensure the proper engagement.
