Countdown Till Kickoff

We had a countdown Java applet on our webpage last year for 'countdown till
florida,' and i've brought it back for kickoff. This applet is different than almost
all other countdown applets out there, because it counts time based on the
server's system clock, not the client's system clock.

It has a little problem sometimes; if you goto a different page, then go back
to the countdown applet, the applet will start counting twice as fast. if
anyone knows why it does this, please tell me!!! =)
i think the applet will stop working when 12:00 AM January 1 comes
around =( but it won't be too hard to fix

anyways, just thought i'd let the world know about it, and i can't wait till
kickoff!!!!!
