With everything that we have been hearing over the past year, I think it is safe to say that the 'Alliance' phenomenon is hear to stay. That fact, coupled with the size limitation of the field and the potential size of each robot, must limit the number of teams at a time to 4.

I think 6 teams at a time would create major traffic jams, not to mention the confusion for players and observers.
