The most awesome thing that our team has ever given away were some little pens that you have to click out (fold out) to open and use. The problem was they are expensive (a bit over a dollar each) and the following quotes as people snapped themselves opening the pens

Student 1: Ow!
Student 2: What? Ow! Oh...
Student 3: Huh? Ow! Ah...
Student 4: Ow!
...And so forth.
They were so much fun, though, and we used them for scouting purposes.
