I think what you are supposed to do is this:
Introduction - this "step" gives you the button needed to download the data sets you'll need for the rest of the examples - but you don't really "do" anything yet.
Then you need to work between the web browser window, select (for example) the next one down: "Autodesk Inventor and Robot Design"
When that comes up, click the button that says START THE EXERCISE which will launch a "tutorial" window that you ought to be able to slide over next to the Inventor window.
You'll proceed through the various exercises and work on the files that you downloaded in the Introduction.
Inventor delivers a bunch of tutorials that you could do without downloading any of this stuff. From the main HELP menu, pick HELP TOPICS (it should be the first one down) then after the Inventor help page opens up about mid-way down the list pick TRY IT TUTORIALS
This will open a new window with a listing of tutorials. Look at the section labeled: Basics and try starting with Creating a Part
