Re: Need A little Help
Your primary team contact (the person that registered your team on TIMS) should have the login information for your team's access to the FIRST Q&A system.
When a question is submitted you will not see it show up immediately in the forums. All the FIRST Q&A forums are moderated, and submitted questions have to be approved before they are visible. From that point, most of them are immediately moved over to a separate area for review by the FIRST, the GDC, FIRST Operations, or whomever is the appropriate group to answer the question.
The question is then reviewed and an answer is developed, debated, argued, examined, bent, folded, spindled, mutilated, flattened, ironed out, and finally agreed upon. Once that process concludes, then your original question and the answer will be posted in the "2008 Q&A Responses" section of the forums.
Depending on the question and the complexity of the answer, it may be anywhere from a few minutes to a few days before the answer is posted. The folks that answer the questions are very aware that time is critical and everyone really wants to get the responses out as quickly as possible. But more importantly, they want to make sure that the responses are accurate. In some cases, the research behind a seemingly innocuous answer can take a considerable amount of time and coordination effort between all the folks involved. So if your answer does not show up immediately, please bear with the process and be assured that it is being worked "behind the scenes," and will be answered as rapidly as possible.
