We've been using Eclipse following the guidelines that Brad Miller documents at this site:

We're also using WPILib, which works well with learning C from EasyC. We're able to cut and paste code from EasyC right into Eclipse.
I'm not familiar with Shtylman's plug-ins but if you hit a dead end, give the link above a try, it worked for me.
