Team 131,CHAOS would try to be there...It is a great event (except camping out in the rain was not plesant.)
Charging teams $100 each seems to be fair to all. When the Manchester, NH teams put on River Rage in the fall, it really takes away one big burden by charging an entry fee. Otherwise, sponsoring teams have to go after their same sponsors for more money.

: so who's up for having Rumble at the Rock V?

: Yah, the wonderful team #23 is taking a year off from building a 'bot.. yeah, Memorial Hall is being done over (or torn down, not totally sure)... but little little details like that never stopped any of us before..

: why should they now?

: Figure say it takes 25K-35K to run something like this, plus manpower.. ok, all the times together we can get the volunteers.. that i highly doubt would be a prob.. and maybe no team solo wants to take on the financial burden as team #23 did.. but yeah, if all the teams cause pay a bit more for registration, and/or the teams that have the $$ can co-sponsor this competition...

: and maybe theirs somewhere in plymouth that could host us again, because we know what a great place that is and it just wouldn't be the same elsewhere (although i could deal if it meant there would be a Rumble..:-).. and maybe having it in plymouth would remind the great people just what they're missing out on (not that i think they don't know already..)..

: what do you say? who's in for keeping one of the best FIRST traditions alive.. or has someone already beat me to the idea?
