I was wondering if I was missing something.....but someone had mentioned to me that there were optical sensors in the kit....but I don't see them.

Was this perhaps in last-year's kit, and NOT this years?

I see that there are a number of LEDs in the kit.....are there any sort of light detectors that might be used in conjunction with the LEDs to make a homemade Optical sensor?

How about magnets for the reed switches.....more specifically, sheets of magnet material...or how about this....is it legal to magnitize steel for use on the robot?

Oh well....just a few silly questions....
