Re: Inventor 2008 file open in Inventor 7?

Inventor 2008 files cannot be opened in Inventor 7, but Inventor 7 files can be opened in 2008.

You can get a file from 2008 to 7 by using Inventor 2008 to save as a STEP file (.stp) and then use Inventor 7 to open the .stp file and save it back into Inventor format.
