I'll try and get some video tomorrow. The chain tension springies are just a response to the uneven kinematics of the linkage points. Originally the arm was going to have pneumatics, but welding was a little out, and the globe motor saved us, but actually works better, and is lighter. Amazingly what you see here is only 100lbs. but a herding device is not mounted yet, which adds another 6lbs. those go on tomorrow
Still lots of tweaking and a cool ultrasonic panning unit to do.
