But so long as you use the three gray pieces, you can reduce the number of red and black pieces and cut the yellow connectors. This has been addressed in the Q&A. If you missed it, you may have missed other important rule interpretations and explanations. As tedious as it is, especially when under the timelines we are under, reading every Q&A is a very useful thing and often more than pays for the time invested when you have a clean robot that passes tech on the first go-round.
