just to be sure i never did that as a driver (was for 3 years)- my team wouldn't let me leave!!

actually, my freshman year i was on the strategy team (this was when the games were still held inside epcot).. and we went off to grab lunch when we had a good couple of hours in between matches..

of course, lines were long, everything was slow.. and we found ourselves booking it back to the playing field.. with very few minutes to spare, we come upon a Disney employee- 'You can't get by here right now' - ACK! The draw bridge was being lifted and boats had to pass!

Fifteen minutes later the bridge was done its little show and we ran on with our cold food.. Likely for us, FIRST is always running a little behind on matches and we just made it in time.. We got some looks.. and few people believe that there's a draw bridge mid-Epcot

But I swear! There is!!
