Full animations? what format and what resolution were you planning on storing them in? I know from experience that those things can get to be awfully big.... I think quicktime or mpg at about 320x240 would be feasible. Anyways, on to the real dirt.. :^)
I think our animation is moving along well. Unfortunately, I'm at college out of town during the week, plus I've been busy helping get the robot running, so I can't say for certain. The storyboard was roughly like this, last I'd heard:
Fade in to a leopard running across the plains (this has been changed do to the difficulty of making a leopard run). The landscape is wasted and desolate. Zoom way into the eye. We find ourselves traveling down a tunnel lined with schematics and robot parts flying past us. A part or two pauses in front of the camera to demonstrate how it works. Then we reach the end of the tunnel to find a playing field. A very brief competition follows, after which we find ourselves back out on the plains. We're looking at the leopard, and the plains have been restored. Fade to black. This was the gist of the animation when I last saw it. Personally, I've got a much cooler idea, but I'm saving it for next year... how's everyone else doing?
