If the principal, teachers are in agreement with the fund raiser, it might be helpful to have them sign an agreement form, stating that they support the fund raising efforts of the team and they understand that it is done in the spirit of fun and entertainment. It will not harm the participants.

It could also be cool to have a safety captain on duty during the fund raiser helping keep things on track. For this, the team members could take shifts as safety captain if needed and it could be a promotion for the team's respect for safety.

Just some thoughts.
