All I have to say is thank heavens the name of this year's game isn't far worse than any of the names in the past. I'm glad that the name this year has finally broken the downward spiral started by Toroid Terror, continuing thru Ladder Logic, and (apparently) finishing off with Double Trouble. I'm tickled pink to know that, this year, I'll be able to buy a competition T-shirt and wear it out in public without fear of getting the crap kicked out of me. I mean, in past years I would've been afraid of what people would do to me (those names just screamed 'kick this dork's but!!')..... But this year? I'm *proud* to wear it around!
'Coopertition' is a great begining in changing my views on the 'wussification' of FIRST. I mean, before I thought things would just keep getting worse, with FIRST drifting further and further out to sea on the engineless S.S. Nerd. Now I have realized the error of my ways! I would like to take this opportunity to recant on all of my previous statements, specifically those dealing with 'Declawed Games.' I have yet to see an actual competition this year, but I can tell, just from the name, that I should be ready for some rough n' tough action (the likes of which would probably leave the average man hiding in his neighbor's pocket protector).
Well, that's about it folks. I look forward to seeing you all at the competition in EPCOT (I'll be the one not spending $15 on a t-shirt).
Marc
P.S.: I sincerely appologize for any sarcasm that dripped on people's keyboards while they were reading this post. Try using some Glass Plus (that usually takes it right off).
