: Beatty, in the mean time, was collecting balls left and right, dumping them in both goals. Where we messed up was underestimating that BOTH of our opponents had room to hang. With three on the bar, the fine Beatty-Hammond machine didn't quite have room to be on the ramp. It turned out that we were about 6 inches away from a 36-31 win!

Congratulations to the winners of that match - it was obviously well deserved. We had the highest scoring match of the Midwest Regional until your match beat us about 3 matches after ours. Us (308 - TRW / Walled Lake) and 135 (Penn HS) beat the HOT Team (67 - GM and Milford) and 144 (Procter and Gamble) with a final score of 33 - 29. Then your match happened. Oh well - it was a great competition and there were a LOT of good, high scoring matches in the Qualifying rounds. I can't wait to see what the scores are like at the nationals.
