Hi there friends,

I'm Fairly new to Chief Delphi and the First Robotics world, and I'm still trying to find my way around the place. you wouldn't believe how long it took me to find out how to post a thread. . . oh well. . forums aren't really my thing.

my actual reason for posting is that I'm writing a newspaper article about the First Competition and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find the number of teams that compete each year. or at least a rough estimate. Being that usfirst.org is down for the weekend, its been slow going trying to find out.

i was hoping someone out there could help me.
