Our robot names tend to lean towards the robot's appearance.

1st yr. Rambot
2nd yr. Ballistic and Table Bot or Purple People Eater TRANSFORMED.
3rd yr. Phobos Robos with both RamRod andTable Bot TRANSFORMED.
